Product Descriptions

sutralasya.com and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, sutralasya.com does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by sutralasya.com itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

 

Pricing

Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full price of the product inclusive of all taxes and GST in India. 

With respect to items sold on sutralasya.com, we charge your credit card before your order has entered the shipping process. For any reason if we are not able to ship you products as per your order, we will intimate you electronically and refund the value of the products not available. 

 

Shipping & Taxes

All of Sutralasya orders are shipped door-to-door from our warehouse in Bengaluru, India to your provided shipping address. Sutralasya.com offers free shipping in India on all items. There are absolutely no hidden charges when you purchase with Sutralasya.com. The prices listed for all items are final and inclusive of all taxes and GST. 

We maintain 100% inventory of the items listed on the website and we usually dispatch within 48 hours from our warehouse in Bengaluru and deliver within 5-7 days depending on the location.

We do not ship backorders. We aim to keep every item on our website in stock. If there is an item which you purchase and then we realise this item is not available, we will promptly inform you within 2 working days of your purchase and fully refund your money for the out of stock item.

We take all necessary precautions to ensure the safe and secure delivery of your package. We process all deliveries through DTDC courier services. If there is no DTDC service available in your area, we will ship via Government Registered Book Post or Speed Post.

 

Returns And Refunds

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it or before the product is shipped, whichever comes first. In such cases, we will initiate a refund of your payment within 48 business hours after processing your cancellation request. Please note that once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

To initiate a return, you can request it within 48 hours of receiving your order.  Please provide us with the product name, invoice details, and a description of your concern, and include pictures or videos of the product. Ensure that the item is in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

Our team will assess your return request based on quality checks. Once approved, kindly ship the product back to us within 7 days, using the address provided via email. Please be aware that you are responsible for covering return postage costs.

Following our receipt and inspection of your return, we will promptly notify you of the approval status. If your return is approved, your refund will be credited to the same account from which the payment was made. You can expect the amount to be credited to your account within 7 working days.

Replacement requests are subject to stock availability. In cases where a replacement is not possible due to stock unavailability, we will process a refund for your order. Replacement requests are valid only for the same product in situations of transit damage, wrong delivery, or damaged packaging.

 

Product Properties And Wash Care

All of Sutralasya's products are handcrafted using the finest natural fibres. The subtle variations in colour, texture and finish are intrinsic to hand made products. Our products involve crafts-based traditions of hand spinning, dying, weaving, wood block printing and embroidery. We use both vegetable dyes and commercial dyes with the goal of minimising our impact on the environment while striving for the best colour properties. An irregular weave or print is not a defect - handloom by definition means uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.

Colours: We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on this Web site. However, because the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

By visiting sutralasya.com, you agree that the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of the Karnataka court, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and sutralasya.com or its affiliates.

 

Disputes

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to sutralasya.com or to products you purchase through sutralasya.com shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Bengaluru, India. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing under the Indian Arbitration Act. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgement in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

Site policies, modification, and severability please review our other policies. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
